Usery Mountain Campground

Usery Mountain Regional Park Campground is one of our all-time
favorite places to camp. Operated by Maricopa County Parks, it is part of a
park system that consistently offers some of the best camping experiences in
Arizona. What we love most is the beautiful desert scenery and the spacious
campsites where, for the most part, you barely notice your neighbors.
The sunsets here are often spectacular, painting the surrounding mountains and desert landscape with vibrant colors. Despite its peaceful, remote feel, the campground is conveniently located close to civilization. Restaurants and shopping are only about five miles away, and the Salt River Recreation Area is even closer. |

The park also offers numerous hiking trails that range from easy walks to more challenging treks, making it a great destination for hikers of all skill levels. In addition, the Nature Center hosts a variety of educational programs, guided hikes, and activities that help visitors learn more about the area's unique desert environment. |
