Our visit to Florence, Arizona was full of charm, history, and great local flavor. We started with the town’s impressive museums, where exhibits brought its rich Old West past to life. One highlight was the massive old-time hardware store—packed with character and nostalgia, it felt like stepping back in time. We always enjoy wandering through these old time hardware stores that have not yet been replaced by big box stores.

When it came to food, The Loft and Pantry served up delicious meals in warm, welcoming settings. In fact we went out of our way to go back through this town just to eat there again.  And we couldn’t resist a stop at the Florence Fudge Shop, where we picked up some truly decadent fudge that made the perfect sweet ending to our day. Florence may be small, but it’s full of personality, and our photos help show  it all.
