The Billy the Kid Trail is a popular destination for history buffs and outdoor enthusiasts. The trail offers a scenic drive through the mountains and forests of New Mexico. We also stopped in Pie Town for a fabulous meal at the Pie-O-Neer. We over-nighted just outside the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge and had a small but wonderful campground.
