In the northern part of the Petrified Forest National Park is the Painted Desert Inn, an adobe building that is now a museum. There are also beautiful views looking out over the painted desert. The center of the park changes into colorful badlands with many hiking trails. The southern end of the park contains the petrified wood, logs. We have been through this park numerous times now and enjoy it each time we go.
