Indiana continued much like western Ohio, with farms that just oozed pride, well tended land and American flags. This one wanted you to know it was in the same family for over 100 years. In Ligoneer Indiana we met up with friends and spent the night in a beautiful Bed and Breakfast. We went up to see the Shipshewana flea market. It was probably the largest one I have ever seen. Then we spent a few hours driving around Amish country in the area. I tend to like to pick the dirt roads and drive on them, you get to experience more of the Amish culture and way of life on the dirt roads.

When we left Ligonier we were rolling through Nappanee where Newmar motor homes is located. We were there about 15 minutes before their factory tour started so we decided to take a tour of their factory. It really was a very fascinating process and this area is well known for all the RV products produced here and right now, that industry is booming. Unfortunately no cameras were permitted. Newmar is a high end class A motor coach and at the end of the tour we got to go through some of the new ones just completed. In Kendallville we went through the Mid-America windmill museum. It was a very interesting museum and we learned a lot there. It was a fabulous day for photographs outside too. Like many small towns across America, we would find some incredibly interesting museums and even though most days we were only driving 120 miles we always ran out of time.
