We were in Oxnard visiting a museum and I was aware of Heritage Square so went to see it. It is an area where they have relocated old Victorian and Craftsman style homes originally owned by Oxnard pioneers. Their web site says "Heritage Square began in 1985 as a vision to preserve the historical and architectural uniqueness of turn-of-the-century Oxnard. It officially opened in 1991. Through the commitment of some of Oxnard’s original families, other investors, and the City of Oxnard, eleven homes, a church, water tower, pump house and storehouse have been moved to a single block and restored to their original condition."

They have numerous events here including summer concerts, Christmas activities, Historical performances and a Steam Punk Festival in October. If you are in the area it is worth a stop to see.
