Riverside Art Walk Meetup Group Shoot

In 2013 I went to my first meeetup group photo shoot. It was about shooing
outside using natural light. It was a lot of fun just shooting models who know
how to pose. The whole idea is the models are hoping to get something good for
their portfolio and the photographers the same. This one was at the Riverside
Art Walk. A lot of the communities around us have monthly art walks to bring
people to their downtown area and the art venues. This was our first time to
this one in Riverside and both Karen and I were surprised at just how large it
was. |

Friend of ours, Stan and Donna met us there. The meetup group does this each
month in Riverside and Stan is hooked and has been going back ever since.
This shoot had two models and all photos were taken inside the Life Arts
Center Building which made for an interesting backdrop for pictures. |

My brother sent me an email of old cars that had pinup models and one
of the pictures was of Felina Vie to the left. It was kind of surprising to
me to see an email thread like that and there was somebody I had
photographed. So I sent him another picture of Felina.
Not sure he realized I had taken the photo of her. Karen and Donna were off
wandering the art walk while Stan and I were shooting the young ladies. |
