We volunteer at the Route 66 museum in Barstow and always send people to this museum in Victorville but had not been there ourselves in about 4 years. So, here we are. They really have done a nice job and the displays have changed quite a bit since we were last there. Click here for their web site.

Tear drop trailers are the retro thing these days and they have one on display. It is not an old one but rather a new one a local man built. Really did a great job on it too. It was built from old plans but he used new materials.

There is all kinds of memorabilia from times gone by. There is a wonderful display on local legend Miles Mahan's Hula Ville. Miles, a retired carnival worker, entertained Route 66 travelers for decades on his 2-1/2 acres in the upper desert on Route 66.
