Blossom Trail

We had heard about the Fresno County Blossom Trail so decided to take a weekend and go to Fresno and enjoy one of natures spring treats. We had very nice spring weather with temperatures in the low 70's and nice sunny days.

These are almond blossoms. They were the predominant tree blooming while we were there. If we were to go again I think I would try to time it when the orange trees are in bloom as they are more fragrant.

The Blossom Trail is about a 65 mile drive through huge orchards.

This picture is taken a few miles from the trail at a beautiful stream. We just sat here for  a while soaking  in the view.
