This website was originally started as a web log of our travels and
adventures after we moved to the west coast. I bought a digital camera to do
this web site. But, I discovered I liked to take pictures. Somewhere along
the line the pictures started improving to the point I almost ashamed to
post these. The are really lousy. But.. here they are as the museum is a
great place to visit.
As shown in this photo the exhibits at the Peterson Museum tend to show period situations. This car is stuck in the mud with the radiator overheating. |

The museum was started in 1994 and covers 4 floors. One the first floor the path through the museum is built like a road and it meanders into different rooms with each new room depicting different eras of the automobile. |

In the area of the 1930's cars there is this recreation of an old time grocery. |

And of course they have some bikes chronicling the history of the motorcycle. |
