Bryce Canyon is in the Southern part of Utah and is one of the smaller national parks. But is extremely colorful. To get to Bryce we drove though part of the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument. It was 35 miles of dirt road driving that at times was pretty rough. The views to the west were of Bryce Canyon and were very colorful. This view is just to give a feel for the road.

Before we went into Bryce we stopped to ride quads in the Dixie National Forest. It was a lot of fun but we really didn't have the right gear for it. We ate a lot of dust.

This area is called Wall Street. It was quite a walk down and as we went down we wondered what happens when it rains?

Down at the bottom of Wall Street is this tree. This is what I went to photograph. HaHa that's right I made everybody take this hike down just to get this photograph. While at the visitors center I saw this photo and asked where it was. I also asked about the light on it at the time of day and was told it should be good. I wasn't disappointed.
